Last updated 8 November 2026
Uninstalling Battery Health removes the app and stops bandwidth sharing. It takes about a minute.
Windows 11
- Open Start and choose Settings, or press Windows + I.
- Go to Apps, then Installed apps.
- Find Battery Health in the list, choose the three dots (…) next to it, then Uninstall.
- In the uninstaller, tick "Delete the application data" if you also want your Battery Health data removed, then choose Uninstall.
Windows 10
- Open Start and choose Settings, or press Windows + I.
- Go to Apps, then Apps & features.
- Select Battery Health, then Uninstall.
- In the uninstaller, tick "Delete the application data" if you want your data removed too, then choose Uninstall.
From the app
Open Battery Health from the tray, go to Settings, then choose Stop sharing. It explains the steps and can start the uninstaller for you.
What uninstalling does
- Bandwidth sharing stops immediately, together with the app.
- The app is removed from
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Battery Health, along with its Start menu entry and its "Start with Windows" entry. - With "Delete the application data" ticked, your Battery Health data, settings and the sharing component in
%APPDATA%\fm.earn.batteryhealthare deleted too. Without it, they stay on your PC, so a reinstall picks up where you left off. You can delete that folder yourself at any time.
Uninstalling is free and never asks for anything. Afterwards your browser may open a short page that asks, optionally, why you uninstalled. If you'd like us to delete the consent record and other data linked to your device on EarnFM's side, see the privacy policy.
